28 Jul Yahoo Sees Small Gains in Diversity
Yahoo YHOO +0.03% released its most recent diversity numbers in a blog post last week, showing a one-percentage-point increase in the share of women in both tech and leadership positions. The company saw larger changes in the percentages of minority workers in both areas, largely due to increases in the percentage of Asian workers.
“We are working to increase diversity in the talent pipeline and make Yahoo a great place to work for a diverse employee base,” the post said.
Yahoo joins several other companies that have reported diversity statistics in 2015. These companies began reporting for the first time last year.
